When you get your salary or benefits paid into Pockit via BACS transfer, we can advance you the money a day earlier!

How it works:
• When you receive your salary or benefits in your Pockit account, for example on the 30th of April
• You will see the payment as pending the day before, in this case on the 29th around 3pm
• You’ll receive your money between 6:30 and 7:30pm on the a day earlier than usual, in this case the 29th

You will see the payment as 'pending' the day before your salary is due.
You should receive the payment between 6:30 and 7:30pm on the a day earlier than usual.
If you are paid by a regular bank transfer you should get your funds straight away (subject to successful checks).
Most benefits are usually paid by direct credit transfer straight into an account. This includes:
• benefits from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) including Universal Credit
• housing benefits
• tax credits
• child benefit
• guardian’s allowance
Please note that a Council Tax Reduction is usually paid by a reduction in your Council Tax bill. Housing Benefit may be paid by a reduction in your rent if you are a local authority tenant, and it is sometimes paid direct to your landlord in other circumstances. Otherwise your local council will usually pay your Housing Benefit by cheque or into an account. If you ask them, some councils will agree to pay you by cheque instead.
